We successfully represented the company in Boykin v. Sanderson Farms, Inc., 910 So.2d 52 (Miss. App. 2005), which involved the characterization of a hearing loss injury as "latent," which would allow the claim to wrongfully avoid statute of limitations violations.  Our argument prevailed and withstood two appeals. 

Our skilled legal analysis and persuasive writing have helped us prevail time and again.  In another case, Sanderson Farms, Inc. v. Deering, 909 So.2d 1169 (Miss. App. 2005), the Court of Appeals sided with GBEO in determining that the employee's intoxication was a proximate cause of his injury, and therefore, workers' compensation was unavailable.

Our extensive trial preparation, which typically involves a comprehensive investigation, helps us put our clients at an advantage.  Sanderson Farms, Inc. v. Jackson, 911 So.2d 985 (Miss App. 2005) involved a personal assault that took place on company property.  Ultimately, the Court of Appeals resolved the case in favor of our client, acknowledging that workers' compensation benefits are not available for injuries arising out of a personal disagreement unrelated to the job.
