Shirley M. Moore is an associate attorney with Gholson Burson Entrekin & Orr, P.A. Ms. Moore previously served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Larry Roberts in the Mississippi Court of Appeals. She is admitted to attorney practice in the State of Mississippi.
Ms. Moore received her Bachelor of Sciences degree from William Carey University, graduating summa cum laude. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law, where she was in the top ten percent of her class. As a law student, Ms. Moore was involved in numerous activities, including the prestigious Moot Court Board and the Stetson National Pretrial Competition Team. She was the recipient of many awards and merit scholarships, including the Mission First Legal Aid Clinic Pro Bono Award, the Mississippi College School of Law Academic Merit Scholarship, the Marie Upton Scholarship, the Frisby Griffing Marble Scholarship, and the Mississippi Center for Justice Award.
During law school, Ms. Moore served as a summer associate with the firm of Phelps Dunbar and worked as a legal intern for the Mississippi Center for Justice.
